The events were cancelled due to weather, but the show, which in previous years has always been a live show, was pre recorded sometime in October and had the hosts keep talking about the events as if it were still happening and they had just been cutting to live events even "interacting" with live segments at the event which was obviously not happening, and eventually resorting to a pre-record of a previous year to fill in a crucial segment, but still refering to it as if it were a live broadcast because the pre-record around the pre-record was also a pre-record. It was a goddamn shambles. Doing it live, like they always did could have given them a lot more options on how to respond to the bad weather.
