Yeah. He was one weird dude, but he really owned it, and I admired him for it - even his projects that I couldn't get into.

I'm so fucking gutted. My late Dad got me into his stuff when I was a teenager and we really bonded over it. He showed me Eraserhead, Mulholland Drive and the first season of Twin Peaks and I remember he was so overjoyed to have someone to discuss them with because no one else in the family was into his stuff.

He was one of a kind, and I'll be raising a glass to him tonight.

I've also bonded with loved ones over his work. Which is sort of bizarre, I guess, when you look at the nature of his work, but..... yeah. My partner and I feel like we're in denial, even though we knew it was coming. It might be awhile until I can watch his stuff again.
