I get this. Some like to follow 'people' and get their thoughts on news and ideas and others like to follow 'actors that perform as a particular character for entertainment' and those preferences and channels and even genres don't have to overlap.

Dunno why people are acting like you're unreasonable. Lots of YouTubers have a 'uniform' because they have a YouTube persona, on purpose.
