I might roll my eyes at the Youtubers I'm watching being sponsored by the usual 15 companies, but I know they have bills to pay etc. BUT where I draw the line are when they start peddling finance apps or apps that supposedly delete your data from the internet (Rocketmoney, Sofi etc).

I'm not someone who follows people who peddle obvious scams or online casinos, so I'm always taken aback when these (to me) reasonable people start talking about apps that need you to put in so many, if not all, of your sensitive (bank) data and give them permission to end (aka alter) contracts for you.

Maybe these apps are safe. Maybe they genuinely think they're good apps. I still think it's irresponsible. At least with the usual sponsors you only lose the money you paid for a possibly crappy product/mobile game.

The Honey scandal will probably not be the first and maybe not the worst one.

I've been disappointed by so many creators I love watching in the recent weeks. Please go back to telling me how much you love Raid Shadow Legends, okay?

I agree about the teen movies (and all the super popular others like Say Anything. But Trains, Planes, and Automobiles is one of the best movies ever made. Mr Mom was great, Home Alone has endured for a reason and European Vacation was brilliant, too. That’s if you’re counting movies he wrote and produced but didn’t direct.

I took my dad to see one of our favourite artists recently and we were high up in the stands. Me with my fear of heights and him with his aging body didn't make it down by ourselves and had to rely on the kindness of strangers. I'm double checking everything I book in the future and making sure we/I am near ground/platform level even if I have to pay extra.

I don't believe you. You always see a sitting plan. Even if it's far away you can bring binoculars. There's no seats that barely get sound. If there's then it's a reason for refund and complaint to this Brothers. Thirdly podcasters concerts is not even a thing, farthermore with expensive seats and huge rooms where you can't see the stage. I know because I went to some less known venues. This secret feels like an ad for these podcasters.

I personally liked 2 the most and also never was a fan of any of the DAO companions. But I do think Veilguard is much worse on a whole when it comes to the dialogues. DAO (as well as 2 and Inquisition) had a few cringy moments. Veilguard barely has any dialogue that isn't pure cringe.

I grew up with only one TV channel (ABC, the Australian version of PBS) and our family didn't get a VCR until I was 16 and I had to watch a documentary for history class in school. And there was no cinema in town. So I didn't see any of these except Home Alone at the time they came out. I tried to watch a few later and they were mostly just gross and dumb and so revoltingly sexist.

gimme a list of artists to boycott and avoid. I've already dropped Billy Ray Cyrus and Carrie Underwood from my playlists, as well as Rascal Flatts. Kanye, Kid Rock and Snoop Dog were never on there lol

The fact that your kid might've been disappointed but took it well shows how great of a job you're doing as a parent. It might not feel like it at times, I'm sure, and it's a damn tough job. But you're doing great, and your kid will be amazing as a grown up because of you.

(And to add, I would've loved for my mother to be so sensitive and supportive of my interests when I was younger.)

What are you talking about? Podcasters absolutely do live events. Yes, you see a seating plan when you buy your tickets, but if you don't typically go to live events you wouldn't necessarily be able to visualize/understand how far away the nosebleed seats are. Usually the sound is still good in nosebleed seats, but some venues do have shitty sound.
