The last MCU film I watched in the theatre (and at all, now that I think about it) was Spider-Man: Far From Home. I do blame the pandemic for killing my interest... but given Disney's decision to milk the MCU to death, I probably would've gotten overwhelmed and quit eventually.

The last MCU film I watched in theatre was Black Panther, which is where my interest in the franchise ended.

Same. Well. I always figured I'd get tired of MCU sooner rather than later, because I'm not a hardcore fan, just a casual watcher and IMO, the movies got less entertaining over time. They don't even make good brainless popcorn flicks, TBH.

Somewhere in Phase 3 I was tired of the MCU. I was willing to be invested until End Game.

I've watched some of the Marvel films since but it's like eating a bag of chips. Quick and easy but so devoid of anything with substance. If I could have something else I would but if someone else wants it, most times I will join in but it means almost nothing to me.

I haven't really been able to get into the MCU since what they did to Steve Rogers in Endgame. For the record, I am hardcore Steve/Bucky, but I never had any expectations that Disney would have the guts to make it canon. Still, the way it was torpedo'd in such a thoughtless manner...it felt like it was proof that the MCU would never really evolve or try anything new.

There have been some bright moments, but it's all just felt like retreads ever since.
