Oh man, yes. I have a massive fear of heights. And also, vertigo that is exacerbated when looking down. Which sometimes happens even in a movie. I have to be careful. Weirdly, generally I'm okay with them in space.

Yup. I don't know if it was this one, but there was something similar where I had to close my eyes and ears through the trailer. No way I'd torture myself with the whole movie.

I'm not super afraid of heights but I get you OP. If I was watching a movie like this at home I'd not be bothered, but in a movie theatre where you're focused on the screen solely it could wig me out a bit tbh. I remember the pan down Isengard in Fellowship made my stomach do a flip the first time I saw it because my brain registered the movement on the screen as me moving for a few seconds.

Either way if you're not comfortable going to see something a loved one should be able to understand that even if it seems a little silly to them. My gf hates horror movies because she scares easily so I never try to pressure her into going with me if I want to watch one, her comfort is more important to me than a movie.

I've been in a few big fandoms during my time and good god I'd always utilize the block button as much as possible, it's especially annoying when I even like the main fandom ship but I just. Do. Not. Like the opinions I see other fans have about it so I still end up having to block a lot of people. There is such a curse as a fandom being too big imo.
