People like OP: HOW DARE YOU, FEMALE CHARACTERS CAN BE GENDER NONCONFORMING WITHOUT BEING TRANS, YOU MISOGYNISTS

Right? Sometimes I really feel like I'm going crazy with how much I see fandom talking about fandom's unilateral hatred of all female characters and apologism for problematic male characters. How they, the one talking about this, and their small group of lady-loving friends are the last bastion of lady-fans in all of fandom.

And I see none of what they talk about anywhere I go in fandom.

Well, I do see apologism for male characters, but it's always in heated debates over whether the character has value as a character or whether he's so toxic that all his fans deserve to die. And hey, problematic female characters get the exact same divisive treatment.
