NAYRT but come on. It is entirely reasonable to point out that this kind of constant selective criticism of trans people has questionable ideological influences.

Exactly. A statement can be both true and its motives reasonably suspect. I can't count how many times a trans person has done or said something horrible and it gets shared around Twitter by TERFs. I mean yes, you are correct that the thing that trans woman tweeted to her transphobic mother crossed a line and she shouldn't have said it. But the motive for sharing it wasn't to say "a person said a horrible thing, so here's a reminder that it's healthier to simply cut away from people who have hurt us rather than spread more hate." It was to say "a trans person said a horrible thing, look at how awful trans people are."

Many of them ARE awful, just like other people. We just aren't allowed to say so without being accused of being a TERF or making shit up.

If only I could get as much clout by sharing the loads of instances of cis people being awful to send a message that cis people are awful.

HM so most trans people are awful? What about women? Or are only trans women and men awful by default.

But this secret isn't inherently about trans people or headcanons? I find OP to be cherry picking and typical "why does no one care about women characters" complaining, but it just pointed out how (for example) trans men will see a male character and relate to him in a gender euphoria way, but trans *women* will also see a different male character and relate to him in an egg way instead of a canon female character.

Again, I disagree, because I see the opposite in my fandoms (female characters headcanoned as transfem or even "T will fix him" memes. Both are just harmless fun) and I think OP has tunnel vision if they think "no one" has anything to say about canon women. But maybe read things a few times begore frothing over radfem terfs.
