Have you tried having a temp run of the tattoo, like getting a tattoo pen or henna to draw with and see how you like it for a short term? Maybe see if there's Anbu temp tattoos online?
Maybe trying it out to see how you'd feel about it on your body might help make your decision?

If you want someone to tell you to do it, here you go: if you really want it, think you won't regret it and aren't allergic to the ink or whatever, go for it.

I think fandom tattoos are fine if it's something you would still have an emotional connection to even when you're not interested in the media anymore. For example I'd love to get a tattoo of a character I love because even if I stop caring about the media he's from, he's still been a huge inspiration to me for a lot of my creative works and just in general. So I think being able to look back on the tattoo fondly is a good reason to get it.

If you associate it with being in shape, and getting into shape is something you'd like to do, maybe you could use it as a motivational tool. It could be what you reward yourself with after you reach your fitness goals.

Doesn't seem stupid to me at all. "Don't get tattoos that are going to make you feel bad about your body" sounds like pretty sound advice to give yourself, anon.
