I've only gotten drunk near the end of a convention because there's no way I can get drunk and do all that walking/visiting panels/cosplay meets/shopping while intoxicated.

But I'm sorry you're not having as much fun at your convention at the moment.

Yeah, I only really drink in the evenings at cons. I wouldn't walk around DragonCon blitzed all day (though I might have a beer at lunch or whatever).

da and this is how my friends and I always do it. We do our drinking after we've gone back to our room for the night, not during the day when we want to be doing con stuff.
