Yes. The mic and filter will strip most or all of it. Anything leftover is easily cleaned in mixing.

Thanks for explaining!

I guess I naïvely thought of the goal as being audio that’s faithful to what you’d hear in person. I really should have considered that just like visual filters to smooth wrinkles or adjust skin color, people want audio processing that actually “fix” vocal traits that they don’t enjoy.
