This was the personal story of a female writer on the show. Wish we saw more representation of doctors blowing womens' symptoms off so maybe it can finally stop.

Like yeah, maybe it is menopause causing my mother's heart to randomly spend three hours at 200bpm, but perhaps you see how THAT IS A PROBLEM? THAT WON'T BE SOLVED BY JUST "WAITING IT OUT"?!

I warn everyone about menopause. It's played for a joke so often in the media and in real life, but that shit can get really scary.

Yeah. It's one thing if that were the only symptom, but what if another thing was going on that, combined with that symptom, was making things miserable or life-threatening?

Also, I don't understand some doctors' inability to consider: imagine if it wasn't menopause (or insert other condition doctor is heavily assuming), then what else could it be?
