I'm not a vampire fan, for me they're overdone and I don't find their premise interesting to begin with, but that being said I do enjoy the vampires in 30 Days of Night for the sheer carnage factor and the What We Do in The Shadows TV show is hilarious and has been a favourite watch of mine while it aired. And I do like the vampire characters in that a lot.

I think when they differ from the whole 'sexy vampire' trope I find them fun, but if it's playing that straight: eh just not for me(but those who love that get loads to choose from so that's good).
