"The best-selling author Neil Gaiman and his estranged wife were sued by a New Zealand woman who is seeking millions of dollars for alleged sexual abuse and human trafficking while she worked for them as a nanny and babysitter, according to three lawsuits filed on Monday.

Scarlett Pavlovich said Gaiman, author of The Sandman comic book series and the novel American Gods, repeatedly raped her while she worked for him and Amanda Palmer in 2022, causing physical, mental and emotional harm.

Palmer was accused of knowing that Pavlovich was vulnerable, and failing to warn that Gaiman had a history of predatory behavior, according to court papers.
The couple were named as defendants in Pavlovich's lawsuit filed in the federal court in Madison, Wisconsin. Palmer is the sole defendant in Pavlovich's federal lawsuits filed in Manhattan and Boston."

I actually don't mind that thread OP posted this. I haven't been following this story closely, but I am interested to know what's been going on so I appreciate when I see others post updates from time to time.

Yeah, I don't need that shoved in my face. I'm trying to avoid those kind of stories. Just give us the content warning and the name in the subject line. Put the description of the story in the story field. It defeats the point of the content warning to have what is essentially the contents in the subject field.

See, much easier and it helps those of us who want to avoid this kid of content from getting it shoved in our faces. I don't need that, for the sake of mental health, please just trim it.

I'm not familiar with the mental illness that makes it impossible for you to scroll past a single sentence without losing your shit, but it sounds like it's difficult to deal with. Does it also force you to lie about yelling, or is that just you being an asshole?

Describing the contents of the article =/= yelling. If that was your sincere take, it might be time to brush up on reading comprehension skills. But I suspect it's just a lame attempt to complain about a nonexistent fault instead of scrolling past a comment that was already collapsed where the body of the text wasn't even available to offend your eyes.
