Staying in HP fandom obliterated my interest in HP. I wish I'd left before Pottermore because that's when the JKR hate started ramping up, and then Cursed Child intensified the hate, and then she started acting a fool on Twitter and... ugh. I can't even watch the movies anymore because of how deeply unpleasant the online fandom became. My brain just associates everything HP with hatred and bitterness.

I wish I could be a normie who still enjoys the magic of the universe. I'm glad to hear lots of people still can.
