The what reveal now? Everything about LA Garp is WRONG.

Poor Smoker. I honestly thought they were cutting him as a character because everything about him was applied to Garp, but now he's actually showing up. He won't be shit thanks to that. I'm not surprised Oda clamped his mouth shut about the changes, he clearly didn't approve of that.

I've honestly never been able to get into the anime because I hate the art style, it's horrendous. But I really enjoyed the LA to my surprised, it was good fun.

I find those genuinely frightening/disturbing, but I don't know the game so have zero context.

It's just very generic scary modern mascot horror design. Had these been a bit more colorful, they would be in PopPlaytime or something.

Not to say that this design pattern wasn't scary once, it was 100% ruined by association, however.

It isn't a joke at all. This is a very generic design that is found in other contemporary popular horror games. There is a market for this kind of esthetics, like there is a market for low poly, PS1-like graphics,... Thank fuck all games don't look the same. Ultra realistic/polished ray-traced stuff is often boring as shit.
