Pocky. Back before it was sold in the US and was only known in anime fandom as the quintessential otaku snack of the anime motherland that anyone who liked anime would be so lucky to try one day.

There are some good flavors, but all in all it's a solidly mid snack. At least we get Pocky Day fanart out of it.

As an Asian kid who likely spent more time at the Asian grocery stores than US stores growing up, it was interesting to see Pocky gain popularity in the US during the 2000s.

I personally liked Pocky because I enjoyed novelty of the Pocky sticks!

Same. We always had a plain and dark chocolate pocky type snack in my country and the additional flavours are okay but all in all pretty bland.

Yeah, it's nothing to write home about, but it's a nice treat from time to time. Preferred banana-chocolate (yes, I'm weird), but the other flavors were good too.
