Childless I'll give you, but it's actually ten times easier when you have a partner because you can split the tasks between you instead of having to do them all yourself. You can cook some of the time and your partner can cook the rest of the time, you can trade off cleaning the bathroom every week, etc. instead of having to do it all yourself.

I'm single. I work full-time. I don't have anyone I can ask to make dinner tonight if I've had a long day at work or clean the bathroom if I'm feeling sick, I have to do all of that myself. Having a partner would make all of that much LESS work.
