For me the comics do not exist. Especially when I found out they added a stupid Dawn/Xander end game which NOPE. And I say this as a lonely Xander fan in the modern Buffy fandom.

I only heard about the comics' plots, but everything I heard made me go "Oh, yeah, I do not need to invest my time in that." Especially since they had Dracula/Xander hinted at and then went with Xander/his best friend's baby sister that he used to babysit.

(I actually really like Dawn but I agree that Dawn/Xander is a NOPE. Those are two great characters that do not go well together like that.)
