I really don't think these people are "normies," given how much time they spend online.

Instead, I would tend to agree with the commenter above: they're people who came of age online and have a warped sense of what social interaction entails.

Spending all your time online is the new normal, so I think they count as normies. Besides, a normie isn't just someone who does "normal things." A normie is anyone who falls in line with mainstream ideas of what media is good or bad, what behavior is socially acceptable or not, and what actions and thoughts are moral or immoral.
