If the people in that hypothetical town asked for assistance in combating the slag poison, would you say, "ah, well, it seems others in the town voted for it, so I'm afraid I have to let you die?"

I support them in this.

You support them in it because you're privileged enough for it not to affect you, or at least for it to affect you less than those lower on the ladder.

It is absolutely not an adult response to say, "every single person in a country should be punished due to what its country does." That has been the arc of foreign policy since WWII and has resulted in absolute atrocities that everyone here would agree are bad, even you. "The world is not fair," in the way that you're using it, is a stance in favor of an amoral approach to global politics, one that is comfortable with treating civilians as mere pawns in the conflicts between the more powerful. And perhaps that is how things currently are, but I'd much rather work against it then pretend that, "I guess we all deserve it" is some sort of enlightened position.

Nice assumptions. But you know what they say about assumptions, and this one definitely made an ass out of you.

You seem to think that countries not wanting to do business with one led by nazis is only doing it to punish the non-nazis. Because you're centering all of this on yourself. Trust me, none of those countries are even thinking about you, nor do they care. They see a nazi regime rising to power and they're trying to starve it out. The fact that we're collateral damage is no nevermind. That's like saying the fever your immune system gives you is punishment for getting infected. Sure, it sucks, but it's serving a purpose, it's not punishment.

Seriously, get your head out of your ass.

It is not going to punish Trump, you dumbass. It is going to punish us, in the same way that every single sanction passed against every single country since that first became a tactic has punished the least powerful in said country while giving the most powerful new justification to enrich themselves off of their own population.

You're still thinking as if this is about one person, either you or Trump. That's not what this is about. This is about starving the system.

At this point, I can only assume you're stupid instead of ignorant, and stupid can't be fixed, so I'm not going to try. Enjoy being wrong all the time.

Just because a government does bad things does not mean that everyone in that country deserves ruin and destruction. You are exactly right about this, but some people are so angry and so far up their own smug, self-righteous asses that they refuse to see it.
