I liked Tara on Leverage and was surprised how much the fandom hated her. I loved her character and how they wrote her storyline/dealt with Gina Bellman's pregnancy.

I was never really aware of the fandom, so I’m curious

Did people pretty much hate her through her whole run or do you think opinion changed over the course of the episodes?

Personally, I remember being unsure of her and the less cozy dynamic of the team, but she grew on me and then fully won me over in that one that happens at Fashion Week.

It has been awhile but from what I remember people just hated her and were happy when her time was up and she left.

Of course there were some she grew on, but I remember the majority complaining she was a Mary Sue and unbelievable, like every character wasn't some kind of over the top talented mary sue of their field on that show.

Ugh, I would sort of get it if they just didn’t like her attitude, she’s a lot more blunt and abrasive than Sophie. It’s not a necessarily a bad thing, but it could be a matter of taste.

But yeah, the characters having unbelievable crime skills is basically the premise.
