In my experience, homophobes with rigid ideas of what a real man is (spoiler: the idiots with these views typically can't meet their own standard).

Well that's a bizarre observation. I mean I can definitely see it happening but not to the point I'd assign that to anyone who dislikes the character. But I'm speaking as someone not in the fandom, just coming at it from casual fan of the movies and my own friend circle.

I mean I literally heard "what a fa**ot" come out of the person's mouth and equate the slur with being a weakling. So I'm going with homophobe.
