No, it's still awful. In addition to theft and huge environmental issues, IA also means exploiting people who correct stuff, remove problematic generated content (which means looking at horrible stuff all day long BTW), are underpaid and work in terrible conditions in countries where such things are easy to do. People think IA is just computers doing their own thing with algorithms. That's not how it works.
