Same old, same old: my job is sucking my soul out through my tits and it's an extremely difficult and complicated process to try and find another job I can actually do with my disabilities. For starters, I can’t work with people and I can’t drive, so that eliminates basically everything I get if I search “part time jobs [town]”. So I had to send in an application to this service that is supposed to help people like me get jobs but may or may not actually be any good, and once I got done procrastinating on that, well, now I have to wait for them to get back to me in order to even get started. I don’t think I’ll be free of this job before 2026. And every minute I’m here I just feel like I can’t take it any longer.

I’m really lucky I don’t need to worry about the financial aspect of it all, but there are downsides to having parents who pay my bills. They can be pretty toxic and I don’t like how much control they have over my life. If I could support myself, I would much prefer to.

So sorry, nonny. Yes, finding new jobs is complicated. And even finding the energy to do applications is difficult.

I really hope things get better for your soon.
