people under Stalin's rule beat Hitler. USSR soldiers entered Berlin and ended WW2, freed people from concentration camps and basically saved the World. USA started helping USSR in a way of loans only when USSR started winning. People in Leningrad lived under sage for 3 years, many died from hunger. So to say that Hitler and Stalin is the same is saying that German nazis are not "bad guys" and are the same as USSR soldiers and civilians, the ones that saved so many people.

I didn't know that FS could fall so low. I trully hate this history revisionism. Stalin and Hitler do not compare. This casual anti USSR anti Russian brainwashing is sad to witness. I am gratefull to my ancestors that gave up their lifes to win WW2. People in the EU countries with half the countries joining nazi Germany and half gave up without the fight like France and Poland, and people from across the Ocean can not understand how many gave up their lifes in the sage of Leningrad, in camps and in occupied territories. When you see a school graduation photo made in 1939 you can be sure that all the boys on it are dead. All the sons my gran-granmother had died in the war. To say that Stalin is somehow as bad as Hitler is... well, actually it what I come to expect from a place like fandomsecrets. This's one of the reasons I just can't have any fun conversations here. Censoring Stalin who won the war against Hitler in one sentence, suppoting bloody war in modern times in another sentence, I just can't share any warm fandom feelings with people like that. It feels disgusting.

I don’t intend to evaluate Hitler vs. Stalin, but I think German humans are the same species as Russian humans. Russians transposed with Germans would do what Germans did, because there’s no fundamental spirit that makes Russians better people.

Ordinary people being heroes and saving lives, and dying in a siege and fighting a war they didn't want do not make Stalin a great ruler. His rule killed millions of his own people too. Also fight and sacrifices of USSR's people doesn't negate fight and sacrifices of other countries. Especially Poland. What the fuck, man

Communism, especially under Stalin and Mao, killed more people than Hitler's holocaust. One right doesn't erase millions of wrongs. So in pure bodycount alone, Stalin is very much comparable.

Be grateful for the sacrifices of your people, anon, but also understand that Stalin killed millions of your people, as well, through paranoia, terror, and sheer incompetence.

"He fought Hitler and the Nazis, therefore he can't be bad" is a simplistic view that's deeply influenced by your own country's propaganda. I wonder if you also believe that Putin had to invade Ukraine to save it from Nazis.
