God yes. I also see this A LOT with fandom puriteens drawing up giant ass DNF/DNI lists and then go out of their way to seek out/interact with the things (mainly ships) they put on their list. And then they play the victim and wave their DNI lists around when people tell them to fuck off.

So many of them screaming about how evil Ao3 is but then they are always on it. Ao3 was literally built by freaks for freaks. Their code is free, go make your own if it makes you so angry (they tried and couldn't agree on what was problematic).

oh god yes...at the risk of sounding arrogant when I was an actual minor i feel like I held myself more accountable than they did because I didn't want to the Cool Grownups to think I was annoying lolol. (they probably did admittedly because I honestly was. but idk at least i wasn't the puriteens' flavor of annoying)
