Don't hate on me if he was, I haven't seen the movie in 26 years.

Maybe not in Notting Hill, though I would say he's at least middle class in that. But a lot of the rom-coms that he was in, I would say he's at least implied to be upperclass - Love Actually, Two Weeks Notice, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Music & Lyrics, Bridget Jones Diary, etc.
