When I was 22 years old I met a fellow fan in a western tv fandom. We connected quickly and started an LJ community together. She wrote the CSS and set up the layout. She was an incredible writer and honestly I was infatuated with her. It's been 16 years since we met and I still think of her often. One day she just stopped posting to the internet. She stopped posting fic, her blog stopped updating, a CSS update we talked about never came through. When we hit the 6 month mark and there was no posts on her LJ blog or messages in my inbox I realized she must have have died or been killed.

I don't know her name or where she lived. There were no selfies or mailing addresses. Nothing I can identify her by. She just stopped one day. I wish I knew where her grave marker was so I could lay down flowers. It's been 12 years and I still think of her all the time.

FWIW, she might be okay. It's definitely weird that she just went away without posting anything, but maybe something happened in her personal life that pulled her away, and she never knew how to come back. Have you googled her screenname?
