Sadly, I don't think there's an easy, clear answer to this one, OP. But FWIW, I would feel the same way. Especially because I would be worried that the reason he dislikes her is because he thinks she's insufferably woke.

Ironically, I find her a tiny bit insufferably woke, myself. However, that doesn't mean I dislike her. People can be a lot of things, and her political views are mostly extremely valid, IMO. I'm not going to hate her because she lacks media training and her tone rubs me the wrong way sometimes. Not when she's so talented, her music slaps, and most of her political points are, at their core, extremely valid.

And if someone does hate her for that stuff, and is totally comfortable expressing that to someone they know likes her, then I feel like we're probably not going to get along. *shrug*
