Dunno what part of the world you’re in but in my small town’s hospital the response would be for the armed guards to restrain the assailant and call the cops to come arrest them. The admin side is an incident report for file in the office, not the individual record of the victim. And the guards are very protective of the staff so they usually can step in before an assault occurs. Source: my husband is one of the guards and my BFF is one of the nurses.
