Hahhaha. I used to watch Guiding Light until it got canceled, and then I lost track of Murray Bartlett for so long. This role was the first time I saw him in years, and it was both hilarious and startling. I'm really happy he's had kind of a career resurgence in recent years, getting to see him in things again has been pretty cool.

Is this all from one episode or a few? Looks like a some different art styles, but hard to tell from here.

I’ve only seen the episodes with the robots touring around post apocalyptic Earth, which weren’t anything like this.

You're probably going to get shit for this, but I hesitantly agree DEPENDING on your definition of "weeb", I guess?

I know casual anime fans, or more-than-casual fans that aren't full blown lifestylers, or people who are just superfans of one series, call themselves weebs in a tongue-in-cheek way, and I have no problem with those. Otakus and "the stereotypical" type of lifestylers, who live and breathe anime? Yeah... I don't care about their sexuality or gender, etc., cis or trans, LGBT or cishet, I'm really not a fan and steer clear of types like that.

But I just have a personal investment since I have bad experience with "weebs", so even if my opinion is the same as other subcultures like furry, western cartoons, Trekkies, etc., I'm more guarded about anime fans I guess.

I don't actually see anything transphobic in this? It literally says trans people are cool and is talking about OP's experiences in trans spaces. I assume they are trans. Being trans not making someone being a weeb excusable seems... true enough?
