Yeah, it really depends. Where I work is pretty protective of staff (they have to be, there aren't enough of us!) but I've worked at a few bigger hospitals that are really into blaming staff. Plus one that had had a nurse almost killed the previous year and had made a huge turnaround. Despite being a big hospital with a lot of frequent flyers, it was one of the best-secured places I ever worked!
