To imply that someone is from a backwards provincial place people usually use places that do not exist. Not really stealthy. Like Mukhosransk (translation: Shitted-by-flies, Shitville), Ust'-Zazhopinsk ("ust'" is popular part of a name of a smaller town, "zazhopinsk" means "behind an ass")."Novo Ebenya" (New Shithole). There are A LOT of versions of the theme. We can be creative in imagining obscene backwards towns.

Also can be used "from what chum you came?", "were you born in a chum?". "Chum" is a tradional tent-house of several nothern people. But that is a racist usage. In the same vein - "Are you a chukcha"? Calling someone being of Chukchi people. That is extremely racist and faux pas nowadays even for us.
