Man, vegans can't win. Either they are preaching if they give a reason or they are hated and accused of doing it "for no reason" if they don't.

Fwiw, I don't think characters on shows need a reason for every little thing. But I also get it when little things annoy you and you stop watching. I don't think it makes you an awful person or anything.

If the reason is honest, it is fine. People respect honesty. Just say you wanted something to make you feel special and be able to sneer at the normies over. That is a reason people can understand. Don't try and hide the smugness behind fake concern.

As someone who is not in the fandom and has only played one Fallout and it was an east coast one, what are some of the issues you have?

Yeah that’s totally the only reason to be a vegan. There’s no way it’s just because someone feels that’s what is right or for them. And that whole thing where people get bit by a tick and become allergic to mammal doesn’t exist. Which is good because then it won’t matter that even non mammalian livestock is fed mammal based ingredients so the allergy to mammal meat means a lot of us can’t eat any animals and happen to be allergic to just about every manmade product in the world including most clothing, building materials, and even the fucking produce at the store because spraying it with gelatin is a thing.
