Not sure if you are here, but we were talking about gear the other day and I just found out that Durston announced a new tent today! 2p completely freestanding. I was initially going to wait for their Dome 1+ to restock but now I am tempted to splurge even more and get this.

I’m here! I got the email but didn’t get a chance to really look it over yet. I know Dan mentioned on Reddit recently that it would be out soon but I had no idea he meant this soon!

I definitely think it’s worth the splurge, he makes the best tents. Whatever model and size you choose, you’re gonna love it <3

OMG that’s awesome!!! I’m stoked for you and can’t wait to hear all about it! Did you get the regular or the short? Oh and I guess also did you get the mesh or solid? I assumed mesh but I don’t know what conditions are where you backpack.

I just know you’re gonna love your new palace and I still can’t believe he managed to do it all for little more than 2.5 lbs.
