It's... complicated. I watch cdramas for the brain candy light entertainment, and IME, enjoyable =/= good. They all have their flaws: low budget, bad CGI, questionable wig choices, annoying tropes, casual sexism, poor/wooden acting, pacing issues and filler, sad/ambiguous endings, characters getting killed off for the angst/pathos, etc. Some are still fun to watch overall, though, if you keep those things in mind.

Cdramas I enjoyed, with the above caveats:

The Untamed
Word of Honor
Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty
Gank Your Heart
The Imperial Coroner
Ancient Detective
Blood of Youth
Starry Love
My Boss
New Life Begins
Mysterious Lotus Casebook
Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty (seasons 1 AND 2)
A League of Nobleman (not a typo, I know it doesn't make sense)
Empresses in the Palace
A Journey to Love
In Blossom
Fangs of Fortune
Blossom

Moonlight Mystique is a very pretty show with pretty actors and set design, but the plot seems to be meandering a bit now that I'm 10 episodes in, which is disappointing because it's only 40 episodes in total and this seems a little early for things to start falling apart. But the people in it are still very pretty and fun to watch. I haven't decided if I'll stick with it yet or not.

Thanks for the recs! I added some on my to watch list. I'm already familiar with some of them, as in the first five, the Lotus Casebook and the Sleuth.
