Are the allergies yours or someone elses? What are you dehydrating? We had a dehydrator growing up and mostly used it for fruits.

Putting in my garden has been tiring! Hopefully yours goes a bit easier.

They are mine. It's not really allergies, it's more a random autoimmune reaction to foods. I've been on an elimination diet and slowly adding more foods until I can figure out what exactly is making my body go nuts.

I am hoping to dehydrate tofu, a pasta dish, carrots, and bell peppers. I want to start dehydrating veggies and have a stock of them so I can kind of make my own meals on the fly for backpacking. Or at least that's the plan, we'll see how far I get.

if you are not allergic, but maybe intolerant, you should wait more than 24 hours between introducing new foods. I'm not sure if you can do 48 hours, but when I did it I waited at least 72 hours. Good luck to you!!!
