Is it possible some of those are from stray litters?

But yeah, I wish people would think before getting a pet. If one can't afford the expenses that come with pets, one definitely can't afford a pet. We had many rants on irresponsible breeders the other day, so I won't repeat myself on that part.

Some might be, but because a lot of the area around here is rural, most people just leave strays outside to live or die, or they deliberately dump their unwanted animals out in the woods or whatever to 'live wild'. Or on some farm, thinking the people there will want them. It's just so infuriating.
