Only the most extreme versions. Meanwhile, the extreme versions of Christianity want to force their religion on us in other ways.

The slightly less extreme versions still produce authoritarian systems in which women, LGBT people, and religious minorities suffer incredible amounts of oppression. It's ridiculous to downplay it.

No, actually, there are liberal versions of Islam just like there are liberal versions of Christianity and other religions.

Oh, of course. There is, of course, the version where they just pass ordinances forbidding people from hanging up pride and progress flags.

In any case, the fact remains that the most authoritarian and repressive governments currently on earth are either Islamic or atheistic, and yet Americans delude themselves into thinking that getting rid of Christianity will solve all the world's problems.
