The Bleach ship wars were intense and nasty. I shipped Ichigo/Rukia myself but I didn't bother anyone else with a differing opinion, because it's really not serious, but the only IchiRuki comm that existed was filled with constant, nasty posts about rival ships and how the people that were into them were awful people. I didn't even last a day on that comm before leaving and I know it turned into full on harassment wars in other parts of the internet.

IIRC the Naruto fandom had ship wars over the same ship but fought over who tops/bottoms, it was hilarious

Oh my god xD. Honestly considering that still happens now I'm not surprised, I think I recall the Sora/Riku fandom having a similar inner ship war too.

The Bleach ship wars were sooooo annoying. So much needless drama and character bashing on all sides.
