I'd definitely be one of those people who develop a raging holodeck addiction and try to disappear into it and escape real life.

The bonus is that Star Trek is an actual post-scarcity utopia, so a holodeck wouldn't be as necessary. Addictions form when real life is unbearable.

That said, if it allowed me to change my physical form and "identity" entirely for the kinky simulation, I'm not sure if I'd be safe, either.
