SA - There's also just the ways that being ace can be difficult, not because society is being deliberately oppressive or phobic, but simply because being single is difficult in a society that tends to be structured fairly heavily around coupledom as the default. Society is simply not set up to facilitate navigating adult life as a person who remains single long-term. (I'm sure tons of long-term single allo's experience difficulties in this regard as well.)
