I only ever caught bits of the BBC Robin Hood show when my parents were watching it and I was bored enough to try and watch it and my god the hairstyles were the funniest fucking thing about it. I don't think it was taking itself all that seriously tbh, but the very clearly modern 2000's hairstyles on 'middle ages' characters was so absurdly funny.
