This is how I feel about Lower Decks. Could not stand it. But I know it had fans.

Yeah, I tried but I really disliked it despite having genuinely alien main characters. The main kid was so, so annoying, but then again I really wasn't the target demographic.

I'm a Star Trek fan, but I never gave Prodigy a chance. I didn't like the animation style.

It is kind of suspicious that Netflix "cancelled" it after season 2. Season 2 was already made when Paramount decided not to show it. Netflix didn't have to do any production work to get it. So from that point of view, they only invested money to stream it for a little while and then forget it.
