What were some of the worst choices made by the creators of your favorite fandoms?

Inspired by Doctor Who, though I won't spoil. Just really, really hate the choice they made.

Well, Doctor Who for spoiler reasons. Supernatural and The Umbrella Academy for their endings.

C/7 was the stupidest thing to ever happen on Voyager (and even to a Voyager fan, that is really saying something). I think hating C/7 is the one thing that Janeway/7, Doc/7 and Janeway/Chakotay shippers all agree on. Hurray for fandom unity, I guess?
