There are programs now where you can upload your resume and upload the job listing and it will tell you how likely you are to get through the software at the company. If you don't have enough keywords it goes straight into the bin before a person actually looks at it. Also, a lot of jobs these days don't actually exist; companies are advertising fake jobs to make it seem like they're either growing or taking their employees concerns about capacity seriously (but they're never gonna actually hire anyone).
