It is toxic. The way they smuggled the guns into the airport (the wan scene), went to other countries to blow shit up, refused to follow international law or have any accountability is not a good look.

Nah, taking an underaged kid to another country for a fight with super powered people, creating an AI when literally everyone around you told you not to, and then blaming them and trying to put restrictions on them for your mistake, and refusing to follow international law and the accords that you just signed so you can try to kill a brainwashed torture victim? Not a good look.

But standing up for your principles, for your friends and family, even if it's against the law because it's the right thing to do? The best look. Very hot. 10/10

This, right here. Captain America violated federal US and International law and, with Bucky and T'Challa, was responsible for causing bodily harm to a bunch of innocent people. That's really what I hate worst about the US right now. My love for Cap died in CW. Bucky didn't seem to be all there, mentally, so I give him some more slack. T'Challa really disappointed me as well, but I didn't hold a torch for him like I did for Cap.
