If you plan to make pretzels, go with one of the recipes that includes boiling the dough. I also highly recommend using pretzel salt if you can get your hands on it. I have to order mine from Amazon (Hoosier Hills brand).

... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best. Please note that long comment secrets can be difficult to make with a good end result. Most of the time, I'll give it a shot but might not be able to make secrets where the text is so lengthy that I can't fit it into the limited space.

I'm trying something new with the comment secret thread and extending the deadline to comment until Sunday's post goes up. I'll monitor this thread until then, and hope the extra day will be more helpful for everyone.

P.S. Please don't worry if you've submitted a secret and it hasn't been posted yet. I usually post these threads before running out of the previous batch of secrets to get a head start on the next batch.

I might dabble with being awake for a couple of hours. Maybe, if I feel like it.

Stuff like that is so funny to me because I went to my very first convention back in 1999 when I was 14, and it was OVERWHELMINGLY older fans. My friends and I stood out for being as young as we where when everyone else there was in their 20s-30s or older.

These days I'm in my 40s and I'm constantly running into other fans my age or older at conventions. Fandom has always been full of older fans and anyone who thinks it hasn't been has simply been blind to reality.

This. The concept of fandom is not new, but every generation seems to think that fandom is just for young people. It's kind of funny, really.

We are definitely boiling them! We will have to see if we can get pretzels salt quickly online. Walmart did not have any. :(

Ughhhh yeah I HATE modern LPS. I miss the g1 style.

Honestly like... I expect it in big fandoms, to some degree. I saw a lot of it in the Stranger Things fandom.

I'm shocked every time I see it in my small-fandom-for-an-older-piece-of-media, though, and there's a fair amount.
