Some of you sound pretty self-satisfied about having the same opinions on body mods as my conservative grandma.

As a counterpoint: I think septum piercings look cool as hell. I don't get the livestock comparisons, I guess I could maybe see it if someone is intentionally going for that with a large plain ring? Mostly they just make people look hot and alt. <3

What you're interpreting as "self-satisfied" could just be "as willing as you to express an opinion of this."

I mean, you can fully support someone doing whatever they want with their body and getting whatever body mod they want and still think some body mods look ass.

I love how just a septum piercing is somehow 'too much' and so 'out there' for so many folks here lmao. None of these people would survive in alt/goth circles and it's so funny.

Septum piercings are pretty basic from what I'm used to seeing, I don't have one because getting the three I do have in my ears was a bit of a trial and error process as my skin is so finicky about anything being done to it, but if I had more freedom with that I'd have a middle lip piercing, and eyebrow piercing, if helix ones healed right at least two on each side.

Who here is saying it is too much or out there? I am one of the anons that don't like nose piercings and I was in the alt/goth circles for years. I can have opinions on random things and still think people have a right to do whatever they want with their body. Also you can dislike one type of piercing and still like all the others.
